Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (D.O.E)

Puro Accountancy are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing, independent firm in their York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable, local company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare end of year accounts for sole traders, ltd companies and partnerships
• Support clients on accounting processes offering tailored advice
• Attend client meetings
• Manage your own portfolio of clients
• Submit VAT returns
• Train and support junior members of staff
• Support senior members of staff

Requirements:

• AAT Qualified and ACA/ACCA Qualified advantageous (QBE to be considered)
• 3+ Years practice experience
• Desire to develop and progress
• Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero knowledge advantageous
