We are seeking a talented and motivated Semi-Senior to join our client, who are a well-established accountancy practice in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and be able to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Completion of VAT returns
- Preparation of tax computations and tax returns
- Assisting with audit assignments
- Providing assistance to clients with their bookkeeping and accounting queries
- Maintaining and developing relationships with clients
- Managing workload and meeting deadlines
Requirements:
- AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA. QBE to be considered
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
