A global technology and infrastructure leader is seeking a Director level individual to drive a multi‑year transformation across data sovereignty and access control (IT Security/Access Management). This is a rare opportunity to shape how a complex, multinational organisation governs sensitive customer data across hundreds of systems, multiple jurisdictions, and highly varied contractual obligations. You’ll design the enterprise model, modernise controls, and lead cross‑functional delivery at scale.
What you’ll lead:
- Building a customer data obligations matrix (sovereignty, residency, privacy, contractual terms)
- Creating the operating model, governance, and people structures
- Embedding obligations into contracts, playbooks, and technical enforcement
- Navigating export controls, localisation, and geopolitical constraints
What you bring:
- Proven leadership of large, complex transformation programmes
- Deep understanding of IT architecture, access controls, and data governance
- Ability to translate complex customer terms into operational and technical controls
- Strong stakeholder influence across Legal, Compliance, Security, Architecture, and Engineering
Why this role matters:
You’ll define and deliver the model that determines who can access what data, where, and under which obligations… a mission‑critical capability for a global organisation under increasing sovereign and customer pressure.
