Opportunity The People + Culture Generalist (UK) is a dynamic hybrid role blending hands‑on recruiting with core People + Culture operations and European‑specific compliance. This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can shift between employee experience, candidate support, compliance requirements, and day‑to‑day office coordination. You will support hiring for entry‑to‑mid‑level positions across Sales, Client Services, and Operations, lead onboarding for UK and EMEA hires, assist with employee relations, lifecycle administration, and compliance documentation, and maintain a smooth office environment in London. This hybrid role requires commuting to our London office 4 days per week.
Recruiting
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in end‑to‑end recruitment for EMEA/UK based entry to mid‑level positions across the company.
- Own job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Partner with EMEA/UK hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create consistent, high‑quality candidate experiences.
- Maintain recruiting data accuracy within our ATS & HRIS (Rippling/Gem).
- Support early‑career recruiting initiatives, internship programmes, and university partnerships.
Operations & People Support
- Facilitate full‑cycle onboarding and off‑boarding for UK and EMEA hires, including documentation, equipment coordination, welcome sessions, and Day 1 readiness.
- Support new‑hire inductions, payroll queries, and training logistics.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with UK employment laws and PureSpectrum policies.
- Help with contract updates, policy distribution, HRIS data accuracy, and benefits administration.
- Contribute to People + Culture programs, including performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and recognition programmes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on People + Culture related matters.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and professional development plans.
- Support development and implementation of People + Culture strategies that support business objectives.
- Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Partner with leadership to drive change initiatives and foster employee engagement during organisational changes.
- Partner with the Global People + Culture team on regional coverage in North America and APAC.
Compliance
- Monitor and respond to UK government and regulatory notices (HMRC, Companies House, right‑to‑work, etc.).
- Maintain documentation required for audits, reporting, or local employment requirements.
- Support workplace health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and required postings.
Employee Engagement EMEA Region
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations for the London office (supplies, vendors, access, maintenance coordination).
- Organise team events, training sessions, celebrations, and culture initiatives.
- Support facilities‑related escalations and ensure a positive, organised, and professional office environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Recruiting, ideally in a global tech/insights/SaaS organisation.
- Working knowledge of UK employment law, HR operations, onboarding, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with French and German employment law, a plus.
- Hands‑on recruiting experience (agency or in‑house) for entry‑to‑mid‑level roles.
- Experience managing government correspondence and maintaining compliance (e.g., right‑to‑work, HMRC, audits).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a fast‑growing company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
