Location: London Office (Holborn) (In‑office role, not remote)

Schedule: Full‑time (Mon Fri, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)

Salary: From £32,000 (depending on experience)

About The Role

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Merchandiser to maximise sales, optimise stock levels, and deliver strong commercial performance across both online and offline channels. You’ll be responsible for analysing data, forecasting demand, managing range changes, and supporting seasonal planning.

You’ll collaborate closely with buying, marketing, stores, and warehouse teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time, and that every range decision supports PURESEOUL’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandiser in managing stock levels and allocations across stores and online channels.
• Analyse sales performance and stock data to identify trends, risks, and trading opportunities.
• Maintain and forecast the WSSI, ensuring optimal stock cover across key lines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly trade reports with actionable insights for the Merchandising and Buying teams.
• Support range planning, category reviews, and promotional activity to drive performance.
• Manage intake planning and brand communication to ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee new product launches, range changes, and seasonal transitions across all channels.
• Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to inform pricing and ranging decisions.
• Monitor in‑store merchandising standards and support consistency across the retail estate.
• Assist in training and supporting junior team members or admin assistants as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Merchandising Assistant or Junior Merchandiser (ideally in retail or e‑commerce).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling).
• Highly organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator who can collaborate across departments.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can make recommendations backed by data.
• Passionate about beauty, retail, and customer experiences.
