Location: Manchester (Hybrid role) 2 days office / 3 days remote

Pureprint Imprint is seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our growing team, supporting a major retail client. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week based at the client’s offices in the Manchester area and three days working from home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and highly organised individual to play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact retail print and installation projects. Acting as a key interface between the client and our internal teams, you will take ownership of projects from initial brief through to final delivery and installation, ensuring excellence at every stage. Depending on your experience, you will either manage key workstreams within the account or take a more strategic lead in driving account performance, identifying growth opportunities, and influencing long-term client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Manage projects end-to-end, from initial brief through design, production, delivery and installation
  • Ensure all briefs are clearly defined, commercially viable, and communicated effectively to internal teams
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and delivery to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule
  • Act as the central point of coordination between clients and internal production teams
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow the account and enhance service delivery
  • Ensure all commercial processes are followed, including accurate purchase order management and timely billing
  • Use internal systems to plan, track and manage workflow efficiently

For more senior candidates:

  • Take ownership of key areas of the account, driving strategic growth and performance
  • Provide commercial insight and recommendations to maximise client value
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and delivery

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager role, ideally within retail, large format print, signage, or installation environments
  • Strong end-to-end project management experience across multiple, fast-paced workstreams
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure
  • Solid understanding of print production, materials, and installation processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially aware, with confidence in negotiation and decision-making
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and add value beyond delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with management information systems
