We’re looking for a sharp-eyed, technically-minded Creative Retoucher & Print Colour Specialist to join our production team. You’ll be working with some of the UK’s leading brands, galleries, and creative teams to ensure their work looks its best – on screen and in print. This role blends high-end creative retouching with deep colour expertise and hands-on involvement in our closed-loop colour management workflow. You’ll be a key part of the process, from digital file to final printed piece.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Retouching and preparing files to the highest visual and technical standards
- Managing client feedback and edits – with clear communication and a solution-first mindset
- Collaborating directly with our print operations team to ensure colour fidelity and consistency across devices and materials
- Running colour tests and proofs, adjusting files for press or giclée as needed
- Supporting colour-managed workflows across our systems, including ICC profiling and calibration
- Liaising with clients – from luxury brands to fine art publishers – on colour expectations and print output
What You’ll Need
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
- Strong knowledge of colour theory, colour spaces, profiling, and print production workflows
- Experience working in a high-end print, photography, or agency environment
- A sharp eye for detail, creative flair, and technical discipline
- Confidence to speak with clients about colour accuracy and production realities
- Familiarity with giclée, litho, and digital printing a strong plus
- Experience with press passes, proofing, and ISO or FOGRA standards is ideal
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of GMG, EFI Fiery, or similar RIP and proofing systems
- Experience working with galleries, photographers, or art publishers
- A background in colour science or closed-loop print systems
- Previous client-facing experience or studio production management
