Pureprint Imprint is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Director to lead and grow a major retail client partnership. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week based at the client’s offices in the Manchester area and three days working from home. This is a senior opportunity for a strategic leader to take full ownership of a high-profile account, driving long-term growth, operational excellence, and innovation across retail print and installation projects.
You will act as the senior point of contact for the client, shaping the account strategy while ensuring best-in-class delivery through close collaboration with internal teams. You will play a critical role in strengthening client relationships at a senior level, identifying new commercial opportunities, and ensuring the account delivers sustainable value for both the client and Pureprint Imprint.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a strategic, long-term partnership with key client stakeholders at senior levels
- Own the overall account strategy, driving growth, profitability and client satisfaction
- Provide leadership and direction across all account activity, ensuring seamless delivery of complex, multi-channel projects
- Oversee project governance across design, production, delivery, and installation to ensure operational excellence
- Act as the senior escalation point, proactively managing risk and resolving challenges
- Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities, including innovation, efficiencies, and expanded service offerings
- Drive commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and contract negotiation
- Ensure best practice across all commercial and operational processes, including purchase order control and billing accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise workflows, improve efficiencies, and enhance service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and support account team members, fostering a high-performance, client-focused culture
