About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of software architecture, design, coding and technical development process of building web applications on the Microsoft .NET technology stack. We develop with both .NET Framework and .NET Core. We like to stay at the cutting edge of advances by Microsoft and incorporate these into our technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Individually contribute code to projects β setting the benchmark for others engineering architectural challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of MVC, ASP.NET.
- Research changes in .NET framework and architecture to ensure best value is incorporated into practice from technical advances.
- Technically guide .NET Developers developing projects end-to-end.
- Peer review code created by other team members.
- Deploy code across development, staging and production environments.
- Oversee emerging projects using Microsoft .NET Core.
Skills that are required
- At least 4 years of commercial software Development on the Microsoft technology stack.
- A proven track record of projects using MVC, C#, ASP.NET.
Skills that are desired
- Experience of MS SQL Server 2012+, T-SQL, Stored Procedures.
- Experience of AJAX, JSON and XML Web Services.
- Experience of Unit Testing (TDD, MOQ frameworks).
- An awareness of Docker / DevOps frameworks.
- Experience of .NET Core.
- Experience of Umbraco.
- Experience of JavaScript / CSS3 / Sass, Less β implementation of responsive design.
