We are currently recruiting for an experience Gas Engineer to join our client based in Trowbridge.

They are looking for candidates with experience in servicing and breakdowns, installations, or a combination of both, so whether your strengths lie in one particular area or you are a multi-skilled engineer.

A background in plumbing would be advantageous, as would previous or current OFTEC registration.

As a Gas Engineer, your responsibilities may include:

• Carrying out gas servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Completing boiler and heating installations, depending on your experience.
• Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Relevant gas qualifications.
• Experience in servicing and breakdowns, installations, or both.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional and customer-focused attitude.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Desirable:

• A plumbing background.
• Current or previous OFTEC registration.
• Experience across multiple areas of domestic heating.

Salary & Benefits

• 25 Days holiday plus 1 extra day each year per year of service
