We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join our client based in Swindon.

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive the high level of service. No two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing shared email inboxes across different departments.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with orders and product enquiries.
  • Processing and dispatching product samples.
  • Following up customer quotations and making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers.
  • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Supporting the sales, purchasing, accounts and management teams with general administration.
  • Providing cover for colleagues and assisting in other areas of the business when required.

About You

  • Has previous customer service experience.
  • Has excellent communication skills, both over the phone and by email.
  • Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working in a busy small team environment.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and happy to learn new software systems.
  • Has a positive, proactive attitude and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
