We are currently recruiting for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our client at their Swindon site. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnostics of a range of vehicles ensuring that work undertaken is of the highest quality. You will liaise with customers directly regarding their vehicles, provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the team, carry out jobs within the budgeted time and take responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment.

You will need to be an experienced Technician who is qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair or equivalent. Main dealership experience would be advantageous, however we also welcome applications from those who have worked at reputable independent garages, fast fit centres or car supermarkets. You will need to be comfortable working with others, able to contribute to team cohesion and easily build relationships utilising empathy and self-confidence. You will be committed to creating a bespoke and excellent customer experience taking ownership of each issue through to resolution. You will also enjoy generating innovative solutions to problems with a willingness to adopt new ideas rather than just relying on established approaches.
