We are excited to be assisting our client, an automotive company based in Chippenham, in recruiting a Service Advisor to join their friendly team. You will be the main point of contact for customers, and will manage communications between the workshop, the dealership and customers, always delivering excellent customer service.
Duties:
* To assist with service telephone calls and walk-in enquiries on behalf of the dealership.
* Meeting and greeting customers
* Qualify service needs and diagnostic needs where appropriate.
* Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
* Updating customers on job updates
* Calculate workshop capacity ensuring that all details are entered onto the service workshop loading system.
* Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction. Follow up in line with dealership procedures.
* Understand and adhere to all brand service requirements.
* Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the dealership.
* Maintain product knowledge on the full franchise ranges.
* Maintain relevant systems, ensuring accuracy at all times.
* Accurately complete job cards, including any descriptions of faults reported by the customer.
Requirements:
* Excellent telephone manner.

* Confident in computer use.
* Influencing and Negotiating
* Automotive experience would be an advantage.
* You need to be proactive and take pride in what you do.
