Senior Manager (Audit & Accounts)\\n\\nSwindon\\n\\nSalary is dependent on experience\\n\\nFull Time – 37.5 Hours per week – Office-based plus work from home on Wednesdays, if desired\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager (Audit & Accounts) to join our client in their Swindon office.\\n\\nThe duties will be:\\n\\n * Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments including Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders and Partnerships from both balanced systems including cloud-based software and incomplete records\\n\\n * Managing and taking the lead on audit assignments from planning through to completion\\n\\n * Reviewing files ahead of RI review\\n\\n * Managing junior members of staff\\n\\n * Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including supporting analysis\\n\\n * Delivering information and communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner\\n\\n * Assisting the Associates and Directors on ad-hoc project work\\n\\n * Progressing to employee RI status and taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\n * ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 6 years of practice experience (qualification by experience will be considered)\\n\\n * Experience in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sector or a desire to learn and become involved in this sector\\n\\nThe role requires the following attributes and skills:\\n\\n * Ability to multitask and prioritise a number of jobs across all portfolios, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met\\n\\n * Experience managing audit assignments including; planning, preparation, completion and client delivery\\n\\n * Display strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing\\n\\n * Excellent verbal and written communication skills\\n\\n * Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail\\n\\n * Display commercial awareness\\n\\n * Strong interpersonal skills\\n\\n * Experience using CCH and MyWorkPapers is preferred but is not essential.\\n\\nWhat you can expect in return:\\n\\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\\n\\n * Access to excellent benefit schemes\\n\\n * A relaxed working environment whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism\\n\\n * Continuous training and development of new and existing skills.
