They are in an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a flexible, collaborative Tax Consultant to join their team.
About the role:
You’ll be working in a small team so your new role will be very varied and hands on. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of tax clients (both personal and corporate).
- Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment Tax Returns, Corporation Tax Returns, P11Ds and employment-related tax filings.
- Handling client queries and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions.
- Undertaking tax research and resolving technical issues where required.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff members and mentoring where necessary.
This is a friendly, highly skilled and close-knit team where you’ll get the opportunity to work with a large variety of clients. As the business is in growth mode there are progression opportunities for the right person. They work flexibly and your new role can be full-time, or part-time options can also be considered. You’ll be based at their office in Salisbury City Centre, and they have free parking available on-site.
About you:
You’ll have previous experience of working in an Accountancy practice environment and have strong knowledge of tax compliance, particularly personal taxation (essential). You can be either full or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA etc.) and you’ll demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. With your top-notch communication skills and stakeholder management ability, you’ll enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team whilst also being able to work independently. You’ll also be flexible, open, proactive, professional, and client focused. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous.
