As an ambitious, growing company, we are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to be part of our success story. However, it takes a special someone to join our team; here is what we are looking for.

People who enjoy getting to know new people – it is critical in our business that you are able to build good relationships and enjoy getting to know our customers.

To be a successful Recruitment Consultant you will need to be resourceful, pro‑active, use your initiative and be naturally curious. When you first join us, you will be on a steep learning curve so being passionate for success and the ability to work well under pressure matters.

As a business, our priorities are being customer focused, committed to quality and continuous improvement. In this fast-paced environment, no two days are the same, so to be successful you will need to be able to plan thoroughly, meet tight deadlines and work in a highly competitive environment, as well as dealing with anything else that unexpectedly happens in your working day.

A typical day as a Recruitment Consultant includes activities such as:

  • Visiting clients, developing a good understanding of their industry, what they do and their structure, work culture and environment.
  • Targeting new business development opportunities.
  • Implementing sales and marketing techniques to proactively grow your client base.
  • Reviewing applications, screening interviews and short‑listing candidates for appropriate vacancies.
  • Advising and updating candidates' CVs.
  • Briefing candidates about each role, the career path, remuneration and benefits of the job in question.
  • Preparing CVs and correspondence for clients in respect of suitable applicants.

You’ll be encouraged to participate in other business projects, which will contribute to your professional and personal development.

Our Business Purely Recruitment Solutions Ltd are a generalist consultancy based in Swindon. We make it our business to be the best at what we do, which is to provide recruitment services and advice. At Purely Recruitment we take our roles seriously however like to celebrate our success and have fun. Please note we are based in the Town Centre and therefore do not offer car parking.

Benefits include initially 20 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as an extra day off for your birthday, rising each year to a maximum of 25 days, pension, regular lunches out and events to celebrate success and birthdays, regular sales competitions with prizes, and an un-capped commission structure with added incentives initially to help you build your pipeline.
