We are currently recruiting for a Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our client based in Marlborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and set up machinery including routers, chop saws, plunge saws.
- Ensure that components are correct to specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Translate detailed production drawings and follow on with full size rods drawn to scale.
Skill Requirements:
- Have a good, all-round knowledge of high-volume wood working machinery, spindle molder, rip saw, panel saw, planer/thicknesses.
- To carry out site work respectfully in private residential homes.
- Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and work to scheduled deadlines.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Create cutting lists and methodical procedure lists.
- Ensure that work is finished in time for the finishers.
- Experience in setting up large machinery i.e., spindle molder, mortise & tenon machine.
Person Specification:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Be self-motivated and good with time keeping.
