We are currently recruiting for an Evening Shift HGV Technician to join our busy client based in their Poole depot.
Duties will include:
- Vehicle inspection
- General servicing
- Fault diagnosis
- Repair of vehicle defects
- Road test vehicles
- MOT preparation/presentation
- Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty
- Completion of all required paperwork accurately
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent)
- Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HGV Licence preferable but not essential
- Have a good attitude to work at all times
- Previous experience working with the Commercial Vehicle sector
Competitive salary inclusive of shift allowance. Flexibility is available for start and finish times to fit with family and work life balance, based on working 40 hours per week, which could be worked over 4 or 5 evenings each week. Overtime is always available but not guaranteed.
