Job Description Welding & Fabrication Engineer Bedwas, Wales Full Time β Permanent Monday β Friday β Days Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding & Fabrication Engineer for our client. Duties will include: Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld and fabricate metal components Perform MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques to join metal parts Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Assemble structural steelwork and fabricated metal parts using mechanical knowledge Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet project specifications Carrying out all works to a high standard whilst complying with all relevant health and safety standards The Person: To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified and have proven, previous experience with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Welding & Fabrication EngineerIncluding: Proficient in MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques and processes The ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively and safely Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations Experience in fabricating metal components Mechanical knowledge for assembling metal parts Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team Ability to read drawings and specifications A full driving license Benefits: ~ Company Vehicle and Fuel Card ~ Company Pension Scheme ~28 days a year holiday inclusive of eight current recognised Bank Holidays ~ Industry training and development provided ~ Company uniform and PPE provided By applying for this role you give permission for Purely Recruitment to submit your personal information contained within your CV or any other relevant information provided in order for the prospective employer to review your application for the specific role applied for.
