As an ambitious, growing company, our client is keen to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join their team. They are looking for people who have a desire to succeed, those who are always willing to 'go the extra mile'. People who enjoy getting to know new people - it is critical in their business that you are able to build good relationships and enjoy getting to know our customers.

You need to be customer focussed, committed to quality and continuous improvement. Two days are never the same in the office; to succeed you would need to be able to plan thoroughly, meet tight deadlines and work in a highly competitive environment, no matter what else unexpectedly happens in your working day.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous sales experience, ideally within a commercial environment
  • Must be comfortable using the telephone to contact leads
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a diverse audience
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organisational skills with the proven ability to multi-task
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Desire to drive continual improvement
  • Ability to use a range of Microsoft packages to a competent standard
