- Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager 'Commercial'

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager 'Commercial' to join our client.
Duties will include
- Review, preparation and submission of Electrical tenders, ensuring that all return date deadlines are met.
- Preparation and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) during the tender stage, maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants and design teams to clarify project requirements.
- Ability to measure elements of works and create itemised Bills of Quantities as necessary
- Finalisation of all tender bids, attend pre-order meetings, secure contracts and hand over package to M&E Contracts Managers.
- Liaison with clients with regards to Electrical project variations and ensuring that all variations are recorded and instructed where deemed necessary.
- Creating and maintaining accurate estimating records using the company’s estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite of software tools.

The Person
- To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified and have proven, previous experience as an Electrical Estimator ideally with a similar sized or larger organisation.
- Ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings and project specifications
- A full driving licence
- CSCS an advantage
- DBS an advantage (Can be applied for)
- Ideally you will be a Time Served Electrician, progressed as an Estimator having worked in a Commercial, Industrial environment.
Work accurately and effectively with minimal supervision, work well under pressure.
