We are currently recruiting for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our client in the Swindon branch.
What you’ll be doing
As a Diagnostic Technician, you’ll carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work to manufacturer standards, with particular responsibility for identifying and resolving more complex faults. You’ll use diagnostic equipment and technical information to investigate vehicle issues, carry out road testing and fault analysis where required, and work closely with the wider workshop and Service Advisor team to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a methodical approach to problem solving and take pride in getting the diagnosis right.
The person
You’ll need to hold an NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair or equivalent, with strong technical and diagnostic experience. You’ll be someone who enjoys problem solving, works well as part of a workshop team and wants to continue developing their technical career.
