An established and rapidly expanding accountancy practice based in Chelmsford, Essex is looking to appoint an experienced and fully or part qualified Semi Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accountant who enjoys managing a varied portfolio of clients, building strong client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will play a key role within a busy and successful private practice, contributing to its continued growth and high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities * Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. * Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts. * Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns. * Preparing and reviewing VAT returns. * Producing management accounts for clients. * Providing clients with proactive accounting and business advice. * Supervising, supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the team. * Building and maintaining strong client relationships. * Liaising with HMRC and other third parties where required. * Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
