We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, requiring candidates who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work rotating double-day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Loading materials and products onto machines
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Reporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisors
  • Assisting with general production duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
  • Physically fit and healthy, as the role involves prolonged periods of standing and moving throughout the shift
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must own and wear safety shoes/steel-toe safety footwear

Working Hours:

Rotating Double-Day Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday):

  • Week 1: 5:30am - 2:00pm
  • Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
