The Role

As Office Manager/Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the office while acting as a trusted support partner to senior leaders.

You'll ensure the workplace operates efficiently, coordinate key business activities and proactively manage competing priorities.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, adaptability, discretion and the confidence to make decisions independently.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help improve processes, support business initiatives and contribute to a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive executive support to senior leaders, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, preparation for meetings and handling confidential information.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a professional, welcoming and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinate facilities management, office suppliers, equipment, budgets and workplace services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and maintain office standards.
  • Manage office inventory, maintaining appropriate stock levels of stationery, refreshments and workplace essentials.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and services, including cleaning schedules and supplier relationships.
  • Support leaders and teams by managing priorities, coordinating actions and helping projects progress effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a key point of contact for support and problem-solving.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects and business initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

About You

  • Previous experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Workplace Manager, Operations Coordinator or similar role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Resilient and adaptable, remaining calm and effective under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and managing complex diaries.
  • Strong administrative and coordination capabilities.
  • Confident using technology and business productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Startup experience beneficial
