Purely Energy is a B Corp certified energy broker based in the UK, dedicated to assisting businesses across various sectors in obtaining optimal energy rates from a network of over 30 leading suppliers. The company distinguishes itself by not only securing better rates but also ensuring ongoing support, with 91% of clients choosing to renew their contracts. This commitment is reinforced by their proprietary energy monitoring software, which aids businesses in reducing both consumption and costs beyond the initial contract period. As a small, privately owned firm, Purely Energy prides itself on transparency and expertise, consistently delivering competitive market offerings. The company is in a phase of growth and seeks individuals who are eager to contribute to its continued success.
This is an outbound sales role focused on lead generation. You'll be the first voice businesses hear from Purely Energy, introducing the work we do, identifying the right decision makers, and opening conversations that convert into real client relationships. If you're resilient, motivated, and competitive by nature, your effort will directly shape your income.
The first four months will focus on mastering lead generation, supported by regular coaching sessions and classroom training throughout your probation period. After probation, you'll learn the skills to close your own deals, building the skills that turn a strong lead generator into a complete sales professional and significantly increasing your earning potential along the way. We're a growing business that promotes from within. If you're committed to developing, we're committed to investing in you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Calling and emailing businesses to generate qualified leads
- Identifying and engaging with key decision makers
- Building rapport quickly and clearly communicating Purely Energy's value
- Maintaining accurate records of calls, contacts, and outcomes
- Consistently hitting daily call volumes and lead generation targets
What We're Looking For:
- A resilient, self‑motivated individual who thrives under pressure
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections
- A competitive spirit and genuine hunger to achieve goals
- Previous experience in telesales, lead generation, or B2B sales is a plus — but not essential
- A degree is welcome but not required; attitude and drive matter most
- At least 1 year of office experience (any field)
What's in It for You:
- Base salary of £25,000 - £30,000 with uncapped commission. (salary discussed at interview)
- Full training from day one, with ongoing support after training for your development
- Paid birthday leave
- Team incentives and performance‑based rewards, including trips away for top performers
- Company pension scheme
- Free on-site parking
- Company events and a supportive team environment
- Real career progression within a growing, value led business
Requirements:
- Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
- Must live within a reasonable commutable distance from WA1 1GG
