Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm (1 hour lunch)

Our client based near Sudbury, Suffolk is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Procurement Manager your duties will include:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers across raw materials, packaging, indirect goods, and CAPEX categories to ensure quality, continuity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee tendering processes, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding activities.
- Build and maintain strong, value-driven supplier relationships to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and key stakeholders across departments to align procurement activities with wider business objectives and supply chain strategies.
- Contribute to company goals around sustainability, traceability, and ethical sourcing through strategic supplier partnerships.
- Oversee day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, indirect services, and capital equipment.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Procurement team (including direct line management of a Procurement Specialist) to achieve high engagement, performance, and professional growth.
An ideal candidate for the Procurement Manager will have:
- CIPS qualified (desirable but not essential)
- A track record of developing and delivering effective procurement strategies that drive business value.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships.
- Ideally you will have experience within a similar position.
