Location: Sudbury

Hourly Rate: 13 - 14.50 DOE

Contract: Temp - Perm

Hours: Monday - Thursday

An opportunity has arisen for a Powder Coater for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk. As the Powder Coater your duties will include:

  • Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment processes
  • Apply powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment
  • Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and curing times
  • Inspect coated parts to ensure finish quality, thickness, and consistency meet specifications
  • Identify and rectify coating defects if not in line with our quality specifications
  • Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and work areas
  • Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules

An ideal candidate for the Powder Coater will have:

  • Previous experience in powder coating, paint spraying, or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred but not always required)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes (advantageous)

Ideally, you will have experience within a similar position.
