An opportunity has arisen for a Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk. As the Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative your duties will include:
- Set up and operate vacuum forming machines, including manually loading aluminium tools
- Load plastic sheets and monitor the heating and forming process
- Trim and finish formed plastic components to required specifications
- Inspect formed parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
An ideal candidate for the Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative will have:
- Previous experience in vacuum forming, plastics manufacturing, or a similar production environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
