Do you have experience in building and wiring electrical control panels? An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Panel Builder for our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.

As the Electrical Panel Builder your duties will include:

  • Assemble and build electrical control panels, cabinets, and enclosures to specification
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bills of materials
  • Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, and power supplies
  • Carry out panel wiring including cable routing, crimping, stripping, and terminating conductors
  • Label components and wiring in accordance with standards and project requirements
  • Perform point-to-point wiring checks and continuity testing

An ideal candidate for the Electrical Panel Builder will have:

  • Previous experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical components and control systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
