Hourly Rate: £13 - £14

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday - Friday rotating shift 8:30am - 5pm & 6am – 2pm

An opportunity has arisen for Specialist Machinist for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk.

As the Specialist Machinist your duties will include:

  • Machine bespoke components to tight tolerances in a range of materials including aluminium, titanium, and magnesium alloys.
  • Ensure components meet quality and dimensional requirements through use of inspection tools (micrometres, callipers, CMMs).
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimise manufacturing methods.

An ideal candidate for the Specialist Machinist will have:

  • High standard of workmanship and ability to consistently produce precise parts.
  • Familiarity with machining lightweight alloys is desirable. Ideally you will have experience within a similar position.
