Our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. As a Mechanical Design Engineer your duties will include:
- Product design
- New Product Development projects
- Present project updates
- Using SolidWorks & Solidworks PDM to create 3D CAD drawings/assemblies and documentation
- Integrating mechanical & electrical components
- Working alongside external partners
- Planning and costing projects
- Maintaining documentation
An ideal candidate for the Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
- Mechanical or Electromechanical degree
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Mechanical and Electromechanical product design experience
- Strong communications skills
- Experience with producing drawings in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
