Our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. As the Facilities Coordinator your duties will include:
- Daily management of contractors
- Ensuring facilities project work is carried out to agreed contracts
- Basic maintenance, changing lightbulbs, painting etc
- Managing company fleet
- Utility meter readings
- Monitoring / checking buildings
- Dealing with contract renewals with management
- Working with IT support company / managing IT inventory
- Supporting with running company H & S systems
An ideal candidate for the Facilities Coordinator will have:
- Previous experience in a facilities / maintenance role
- Working with suppliers & contractors in managing building projects
- Good levels of experience using Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of facilities management and building maintenance
- Practical maintenance skills
- A basic understanding of IT equipment & setup
- Excellent communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
