An opportunity has arisen for General Operative for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk.
As the General Operative your duties will include:
- Operate and maintain a variety of machinery including lathes, milling machines, drilling rigs and cutting equipment.
- Set up, align and calibrate tooling, work-holders and fixtures for machining components.
- Assemble machined parts, carry out finishing operations.
- Monitor machine performance, conduct routine checks, perform basic maintenance, and report issues promptly.
An ideal candidate for the General Operative will have:
- Familiarity with machining previously.
- Available to work weekends.
