We're recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to lead a small team within a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a small production team to achieve daily production targets
- Allocating work and resources to meet shift production plans
- Promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture
- Conducting safety inductions and training for permanent and temporary staff
- Completing and maintaining risk assessments and raising near misses where appropriate
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed
- Escalating engineering, quality, or material supply issues using a "stop and fix" approach
- Driving continuous improvement through 6S, Standard Work, and Kaizen activities
- Collating daily production figures and completing all required paperwork accurately
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within manufacturing or production
- Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and risk management
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Kaizen (desirable)
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
