We're recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to lead a small team within a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating a small production team to achieve daily production targets
  • Allocating work and resources to meet shift production plans
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture
  • Conducting safety inductions and training for permanent and temporary staff
  • Completing and maintaining risk assessments and raising near misses where appropriate
  • Monitoring quality standards and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed
  • Escalating engineering, quality, or material supply issues using a "stop and fix" approach
  • Driving continuous improvement through 6S, Standard Work, and Kaizen activities
  • Collating daily production figures and completing all required paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within manufacturing or production
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and risk management
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Kaizen (desirable)
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
