Type: Full-time | Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run engineering manufacturer based on the outskirts of Haverhill, Suffolk.
This role would suit an experienced MIG Welder with sheet metal fabrication experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative production environment.
Duties will include
- MIG welding and fabricating components for agricultural machinery.
- Working with materials ranging from 1.5mm sheet metal assemblies to heavy gauge SHS and plate.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all welds and assemblies.
- Working closely with the production team to achieve daily and weekly build targets.
- Supporting the manufacture of machinery used across the world.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately in line with company standards. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven MIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience producing clean and consistent welds on materials ranging from 1.5mm–20mm.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A positive and reliable attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- TIG welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Benefits include:
