Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire Salary: £14.50 per hour Hours: Monday – Friday, rotating weekly shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm Contract Type: Full Time, 6-Month Fixed Term Contract Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics Our client, a successful manufacturing company based in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team on a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract. As the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver, your duties will include: * Loading and unloading deliveries. * Booking stock onto the Warehouse Management System (WMS). * Putting stock away into designated locations. * Liaising with couriers. * Carrying out general warehouse duties. * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse. An ideal candidate for the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver role will have: * A valid Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift licence. * RTITB or another recognised forklift training qualification. * Previous warehouse experience – essential. * GCSE standard education or equivalent, including Maths and English. * Good organisational and communication skills. * A reliable and hardworking approach. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely within a busy warehouse environment.
