Location: Haverhill

Salary: up to circa £30,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 16.00 - Half hour Lunch Break.

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client based in Haverhill is looking for a Bench Hand to join their team on a full time permanent basis. As Bench Hand your duties will include:

  • Assemble bespoke furniture using hand and power tools
  • Read & interpret plans & drawings
  • Produce furniture to the highest of standards
  • Check for any defects
  • Additional duties as required.

An ideal candidate for the Bench Hand will have:

  • Good communication skills, verbal & written
  • Previous experience in joinery or furniture bench assembly
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • High attention to detail.
