The Role

Location: Leeds Hybrid (3 days per week)
Type: Full Time
Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a Head of Marketing Planning to join our growing Marketing Team! This is a brand new role ensuring that all marketing activity is aligned, coordinated, and effectively implemented to maximise value from (+£50m) of marketing investment. You will be coordinating marketing activity across multiple international markets, for all marketing disciplines, and functions, and aligning with the wider Commercial team and business. Reporting into the Group Marketing Director, the Head of Planning will act as a key point of coordination for the 4 Marketing Directors and be a primary interface with the Commercial Directors business.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive ownership of annual campaign planning cycle, coordinating across all functions to form a single ‘live’ plan
  • Ownership of month-by-month activity planner (block plan) and offer plan across all markets with a rolling 12-month view
  • Ensure effective delivery of the Trading Plan across the full marketing team and business, on offer calendars / block plan for upcoming periods, once confirmed and signed off by relevant teams
  • Lead on the development of marketing plan presentations and coordination in senior marketing and business planning forums
  • Coordination of campaign and offers delivery across all teams - executing these to maximise response and business value - ensure that channel owners (internal and external) are fully supported
  • Briefing of offers to be set-up on relevant company websites and checking of those set-ups
  • Working with marketing analysts to understand business value of campaigns, to feed into future planning cycles; ensure rolling campaign and marketing metrics are effectively managed to measure marketing performance
