The Role
We are on the lookout for a CCTV Operator to join a very strong and long-standing team here at PureGym. The CCTV team are centrally positioned within the business and work alongside many other departments & stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities within this role include:
- To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an effective and efficient manner.
- To ensure all Group Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and carried out.
- To adhere to current legislation (GDPR) and codes of practice.
- To respond to all emergency help points, accidents and incidents without undue delay.
- To report all accidents and incidents, including obtaining relevant evidence promptly with excellent communication.
- To liaise with the staff, members and all other agencies i.e., police effectively to support the objectives of the service.
- To provide an efficient and courteous telephone answering service when dealing with an array of issues.
- To report all equipment failures to the maintenance contractor and raise any concerns to the CCTV Manager.
The Person
- Previous experience as a CCTV operator
- Availability to work day and night shifts
- CCTV SIA trained (not mandatory)
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- The ability to think quickly and logically to respond to emergencies
- Determination and patience
- Capable of acquiring and applying detailed legal, technical, and regulatory information.
