Are you an experienced sustainability professional looking to make a real impact? A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Sustainability Lead to drive business growth and expand their presence across the European market.
Based in London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office) , this role offers the opportunity to lead strategic business development initiatives, forge key client relationships, and contribute to high-profile sustainability projects.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and execute a vision for market growth, enhancing brand awareness across the UK and Europe.
✅ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry events and conferences to build a strong network.
✅ Provide expert guidance on sustainability regulations and international best practices.
✅ Lead technical deliverables, supervise and mentor team members, and uphold quality assurance standards.
✅ Travel flexibility to support business development efforts.
About You:
✔️ 10+ years’ experience in sustainability or a related field.
✔️ Degree (BEng/MSc) in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Science, or equivalent.
✔️ Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, TCFD).
✔️ Experience with ESG qualifications, carbon accounting, and sustainability certifications (LEED AP, BREEAM, etc.).
✔️ A track record of driving business development and growth.
