I’m supporting a growing international business that is looking to strengthen how it measures, reports and improves its ESG and sustainability performance. They are looking for an ESG & Sustainability Analyst who can combine sustainability knowledge with strong data-analysis and reporting skills. This is not a purely policy-focused sustainability position. You will help build the systems, dashboards and reporting processes used to track ESG performance, improve data quality and provide leadership teams with clear, evidence-based insights.

The role will include:

  • Developing ESG dashboards, scorecards and reports using Power BI
  • Collecting and analysing sustainability data from across the business
  • Improving data accuracy, ownership, governance and audit readiness
  • Monitoring ESG objectives, actions and performance indicators
  • Supporting environmental, supplier and responsible-sourcing initiatives
  • Responding to customer and stakeholder sustainability information requests
  • Supporting ESG assessments, management systems and compliance activity
  • Working with teams across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, HR, quality and engineering

The strongest candidates will have:

  • Strong Power BI dashboard-development and reporting experience
  • Experience analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources
  • A background in sustainability, ESG, operations, supply chain, quality, compliance or another data-led business function
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The confidence to work with stakeholders across different departments
  • The ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations

Experience within Manufacturing, engineering or supply chain would be particularly valuable. Knowledge of sustainability reporting, environmental management systems, supplier assessments or ESG frameworks would also be beneficial. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building reporting processes, improving data quality and using evidence to influence business decisions. The successful candidate will have direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help develop an ESG reporting function as the business grows. Applicants must already have the unrestricted legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
