I am working with a fast-growing international platform operating at the intersection of investment and impact-driven project development, within a broader industrial ecosystem. They have started their search for a NBS Lead to oversee the technical assessment, development, and delivery of NBS projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical due diligence and assessment of Nature-Based Solutions opportunities across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage screening through to execution.
- Develop, review, and validate technical approaches and project designs, ensuring feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and strong carbon and ESG outcomes.
- Oversee and manage external technical consultants, including defining scopes of work, budgets, and ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Lead the preparation and quality assurance of certification documentation.
- Coordinate field activities, stakeholder engagement, and validation/verification processes with independent auditors and certification bodies.
- Support the development and refinement of the NBS strategy.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a technical forestry, carbon or a NBS role.
- Experienced in managing or contributing to projects certified under international carbon standards.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Additional languages are a plus.
