UK Tax Manager

West London | Consumer Goods Multinational| Full-time | Global Tax Department

Currently looking for experienced Tax Managers who are ready to take full ownership of UK direct tax compliance and reporting. This role involves managing complex UK tax obligations, supporting strategic advisory initiatives, and reviewing VAT returns. It\’s an exciting opportunity to join a global FMCG group with a strong footprint in the UK market.

About the job:

As UK Tax Manager, you\’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns for UK entities, ensuring all applicable reliefs and allowances (e.g., CFC, capital allowances) are claimed.
  • Managing quarterly and annual tax reporting, including forecasts and disclosures for audited financial statements.
  • Reviewing quarterly VAT returns and preparing CIR calculations.
  • Supporting transfer pricing documentation and assisting with SAO filings, Pillar 2, CBCR, JCFC reporting, and the UK Tax Strategy.
  • Liaising with HMRC.
  • Supporting the wider business with tax advisory matters and ad hoc queries, including coordination with external service providers.

About you:

Qualifications :

  • Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or ACA); CTA desirable.

Experience :

  • Qualified in practice with a compliance background.
  • Ideal for candidates making a first or second move into industry.
  • Some advisory experience beneficial.

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of SAP and Alphatax.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
