Job ID: 13112Location: LondonType: PermanentSalary: 120,000 - 140,000 per yearPosted: 2026-10-07Company: Pure SearchPure Search are exclusively partnered with a multinational business in Essex looking to hire a Head of Tax to manage the existing tax function.Responsibilities:Set and oversee the organisation’s tax framework, ensuring effective planning, governance and compliance in line with applicable legislation and wider strategic priorities.Direct the management of corporate, indirect, employment and international tax obligations, including oversight of reporting, payments, accounting treatment and statutory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.Monitor the organisation’s overall tax position, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, manage exposures and make appropriate use of available reliefs, incentives and structural arrangements.Maintain oversight of transfer pricing, cross-border taxation, withholding tax and other international matters, ensuring appropriate policies, documentation and controls are maintained.Provide senior-level tax input into transactions, restructurings, acquisitions, disposals, employee movements and other strategic initiatives, working with internal stakeholders and external specialists as required.Lead relationships with tax authorities and external advisers, including the management of enquiries, audits, claims, elections, compliance matters and significant tax risks.Maintain robust tax governance and internal controls, including senior accounting requirements, ERP tax processes, compliance monitoring and regular reporting to senior leadership, while providing practical advice on complex or emerging tax matters.Requirements:ACA/ACCA/CTA QualifiedBroad tax experience across corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and employment taxesExperience of managing a team and developing group tax strategyInternational tax experience working with local advisersMust be able to travel into the Essex based office 3 days a weekNo visa sponsorship availableThis is a full-time role based in the Essex office 3 days a week, paying up up to 140,000 + bonus.For more information please contact Josh Burns at Pure Search.
