I am working with a global investment manager, who is looking for a tax reporting manager to join the Life Tax team. This is a 9 month contract role to support the team through upcoming reporting cycles.
The manager will:
- Oversee quarterly tax reporting and financial deliverables under IFRS, UK GAAP, and Solvency II, including life tax computations using OneSource.
- Prepare and review technical tax papers and statutory account disclosures; conduct tax research to resolve reporting issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure data accuracy and handle ad hoc tax queries related to life companies.
- Support junior team members and contribute to documentation such as tax papers and presentations
Experience required:
- Previous life tax experience or good working knowledge of life tax
- Strong tax reporting skills
- An accounting or tax qualification (ACCA, ACA, CTA)
- OneSource experience
- Advanced excel experience
