As a SALSA-accredited operation, food safety, structure, and accountability are at the core of everything we do. We are looking for a highly structured, detail-oriented Food Production Manager to lead our central kitchen operations with a strong focus on compliance, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all food production processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, safe products.
- Maintain strict adherence to SALSA accreditation standards, health & safety policies, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, COSHH, etc.).
- Ensure all production activities are well-documented and follow clear standard operating procedures.
- Supervise and coach kitchen staff, promoting accountability, structure, and attention to detail at every level.
- Manage and optimise daily production schedules to meet both retail and wholesale demand.
- Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and reduce waste through careful planning and control.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring all kitchen systems run smoothly and safely.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and food safety excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food production management or a similar central kitchen leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in a SALSA or BRC-accredited environment is highly desirable.
- Meticulously organised with strong planning and documentation skills.
