Senior Planner

Our client is a leading Engineering and Construction company, delivering design-and-build projects with clients in the water sector and beyond, across the UK. They pride themselves on client relationships which results in repeat business on long term frameworks. Job Description Our client is recruiting a Senior Planner to join their team working on a £45m design and build water treatment project which is part of an ongoing 5-year framework. You will be joining a growing collaborative team with a great reputation in the UK Construction industry. This role will be site based 3 days a week with the flexibility of working from home. * Ensure planning practices and standards are consistent across each individual project. * Lead the Plan for Stage process including development of robust delivery plans and understand constraints and sequences. * Production of required project reports including identification of project risks and opportunities. * Responsible for the production and look ahead meeting/process to ensure it is robust and consistently applied across all projects. * Use a collaborative approach, create, and maintain robust resource & cost loaded plans for all projects in the programme. * Resource load plans in collaboration with the lead disciplines to provide programme wide visibility of resource demand. * Ensure the importance of the critical path activities and the sensitivity of other activities are communicated to the relevant stakeholders and these are being acted on by the delivery team. Experience required * Preferably water industry experience. Would consider candidates from a civils or construction background who understands both Civils and MEICA. * Experience of P6 is essential. * Knowledge of NEC construction contracts.
