Our client is a leading Engineering and Construction main contracting company, who deliver design-and-build projects throughout the UK in various industry sectors. Due to growth within their Energy business, they are seeking a Design Manager to work on Battery Energy Storage schemes throughout the UK. This is a developing business unit where you can be part of their growth strategy for many years to come.
You will be leading a team delivering a growing programme of projects in the Battery Energy Storage System market, integrating their core design team with the wider business support teams.
Responsibilities:- Be part of the Engineering Senior Management Team.
- Be accountable for the success of the Engineering service delivery.
- Develop strong and productive relationships with clients to ensure work exceeds expectations to deliver for customers and the environment.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control engineering output for projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, and stakeholder management.
- Accountable for leading the delivery and assurance ensuring the client meets its obligations under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (2015) for its roles as the Principal Designer and Designer.
