Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer looking for a role that offers excellent earning potential, paid travel from your front door, and a great work-life balance with no on-call rota? We are recruiting for a skilled Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join an established and growing HVAC business based in Uxbridge, covering projects across the South East. You'll work on a wide variety of commercial sites including colleges, housing associations, educational facilities, and other large commercial contracts.
Although the role is based in Uxbridge, projects regularly cover areas including Kent, High Wycombe, Bristol, and surrounding counties, with only very occasional work in Central London. All travel is paid door-to-door, ensuring you're rewarded for every hour you're on the road.
The Role
- Installing a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems.
- Working with split systems, multi-splits, VRV and VRF equipment.
- Carrying out installations to a high technical standard.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Commissioning newly installed systems where required.
- Working independently and as part of a team on larger projects.
- Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site.
- Providing a professional service to customers across a range of commercial environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
- Strong installation experience within commercial air conditioning.
- Valid F-Gas qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload.
Desirable (not essential):
- Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out service and breakdown work alongside installations.
